How to do tourism in Sone Valley
Access to Son Valley is very easy. Public transport can reach Nowshera, the main city of Son Valley, in three hours from either Lahore or Rawalpindi. If you have your own transport, coming from Lahore, get off at Lilla Interchange of Motorway, travel 30 km southwards from Katha village, cross Katha mountain to the right and 16 km ahead is Peel Chowk.
Tourists coming from Pindi Islamabad can get off from Kalar kahar Interchange and travel southwards for 35 km to reach Peel Chowk. go The Valley of Gold has begun.
Son Valley Family Point for Visit
1. Kanhati Garden, where there are many fountains and waterfalls, dense trees and view points. Most of the day can be spent there sightseeing and cooking. Camping is also allowed.
3. Uchhali Lake It is spread over a very wide area. There are also boats here.
4. A heap of water. A round-topped hill visible from most parts of the Sone Valley, the two lakes of the Sone Valley, Nimal Lake and part of Potohar to the north can be seen from here.
• If you are tired of walking a little, there is a ten-minute walk to Cheshma Deep Sharif near Kufri. Further ahead is the Gosar valley where there are flat plains which are very green and lush. Here, the third largest Jahler lake of Son valley can be seen from the southern hill.
• There is a spring near Khanqah Hazrat Sultan Mahdi on Chanbal Road in Sodhi Jaya, the road is a bit difficult but there is plenty of water here. One can reach here by doing a little trekking and a whole day can be spent cooking and bathing here.
• Narsing Phwaar is near Chanbal, there are also water springs here. It is a twenty to thirty minute walk. There are old and many other dense trees and extensive grassy lawns. There are two ashnan ghats built by the Sikhs. There is also a Gurdwara.
• Khadumi Lake. The water here goes down to form four separate beautiful waterfalls. The route is a little difficult and is an hour's trekking. But the best place is.
• Amb Sharif Temple. The road to reach here is quite bad, one can go by forehill jeep or there is a two-hour walk from Uchhali which runs along the spring. It is a charming place.
• Qa Kot is near every two sudhis near Kathwai, you can go there by car, there are traces of old fort.
• Find out. It is also an ancient fort where there are about 250 houses made of beautiful stones. The way to go is a bit difficult. If you walk from Khora village passing by Dhok Kaseri, you can reach the fort in two hours. If you come from Khushab, there is a beggar's board with a giant turtle in the middle of the hill. From there, there is a court seven kilometers away. You can also park your car here and go to the fort.
• Akranda Fort. There are traces of a large fort also north of Khabeki

• From every two Sodhi villages to Kot Fort and beyond there are some springs and a lake at Satra.
Now many residential hotels have been built in Sone valley, the best, standard and reasonably priced is Mehria Hotel Nowshera. The second hotel is Madina Hotel near it. While there is a hotel called Lake Bank on the main road of Khabeki Lake, where two rooms have been made by dividing a container into two parts.
